The beginning of our sport prosthetic arm
Our product development expert Péter Bengő has been involved in prosthetic development since 2010. His first project was based on a request to modify a prosthetic device for extreme use. Later he invented and patented a new construction the Arm-XR. This new product got along to the users with the assistance of a foundation. The first implementation of Péter’s invention was a challenging project where his product was individually tailored for a 5 years’ old boy.
During the development and for the first tests Péter made all parts by hand.
OUR MISSION
High quality arm prosthesis without compromise
ARM-XR is a unique artificial arm prosthesis for cycling, motorsport, quad, jet-ski and snowmobile. Sport activity is essential to stay fit and healthy. ARM-XR is a solution to help restore the symmetry of movements and to assist a symmetrical muscle development. For those who ride with one arm it provides full control of the vehicle.
The ARM-XR is the result of years of innovations, and a continuous development process in accordance with the highest standards. ARM-XR has the same number of movement axes as the human arm with a fully mechanical solution. Weight is an important issue: ARM-XR is slightly lighter than a human arm. ARM-XR above elbow is approx 1.6 kg, where most of the weight is supported by the handle bar during the ride.
The core material of ARM-XR is high strength aerospace aluminium alloy.
The prosthetic arm is equipped with our patented locking – releasing system. If the releasing mechanism is active when the user releases the steering bar ARM-XR will release as well.
Every ARM-XR is individually assembled and quality controlled by us. Quality is our promise so we provide 2 years guaranty or an optional 2+3 years extended manufacturer’s guaranty on each ARM-XR.
